Kim A. Beverly-Muhammad is CEO and Founder of The Green Dress Project, Inc.
She is a graduate of William Paterson University, the University of Phoenix, and Walden University, with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology, a Master of Arts in Education with a concentration in Early Childhood Education and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, respectively.
Kim is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor in the State of Maryland. Kim has aspirations to become a Registered Play Therapist and is taking necessary steps to prepare herself to better serve the children and families she works within the community.
With over 12 years of experience in the mental health, and early childhood education, Kim currently works as a Mental Health Therapist for preschool-aged children in Baltimore City. She is also employed by a private practice in Towson working with women of color who suffers from depression and anxiety. She has assisted many children and families to correct problematic behaviors.
Kim is an advocate for mental health and is actively involved in increasing mental health awareness, particularly to communities of color.
For 10 years, Kim has been a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. She is a very active and community conscious member of Tau Eta Zeta Chapter located in Baltimore City, Maryland. She currently serves locally on the Ways and Means, Scholarship, and Community Service committees. Internationally, she serves on International Mental Health Team.
When Kim isn’t busy serving others, you can find her spending quality time with her husband, son, and daughter and taking much needed self-care breaks for herself.
