Stephanie Slowly is personable, professional and passionate about helping people. Stephanie has a specialized approach to the counseling process: utilizing a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strength-Based Perspective and Empowerment Approach Theory, Stephanie guides her clients through the therapeutic process. In fact, what she loves most about counseling is guiding clients along this path of self-discovery. “The best part of my job is when my clients reach their moment of awakening. It’s the point when they are able to tie the work to the problems they are facing, apply the tools they have developed and witness the progress they have made.”
The Stone Foundation is excited to benefit from of the magnitude of experience, Stephanie has attained with a career of over 10 years of in the mental health and healthcare profession. Stephanie works with a diverse clientele from teen to adults as well as couples and geriatrics. She is proficient with helping clients deal with a range of issues such anger, anxiety, depression as well as encouraging growth in their interpersonal relationships.
Stephanie believes counseling is beneficial because it serves as avenue for people to release their emotions in a constructive environment. “Everyone needs someone to talk to. Counseling provides people with the framework necessary to confront challenging issues prepared and in control.”
