Stephanie Powers believes that counseling works best when it is a collaborative effort between the client and the counselor. Employing a “we’re in this together” attitude, counselor and client are better able to explore the problems that come in life. This exploration not only empowers the client with the skills necessary to achieve personal goals, but allows him or her to overcome any new challenges as they come. Ultimately, Mrs. Powers’ goal is to help you reach your full potential.
